CLO x SHOHO Fashion

During my time at CLO, I independently created this client video for SOHO Fashion Group, showcasing the company’s scale and how CLO is integrated throughout its production workflow to enable more seamless collaboration.

In this project, I combined video editing, motion design, 3D production, and node-based generative AI workflows. I used After Effects for 2D and 2.5D animation, Blender and CLO3D for garment animation and rendering, and Unreal Engine to build and render the virtual showroom environment. I also incorporated TapNow and Higgsfield into the production pipeline to extend selected static 3D renders into additional visual sequences and shots.

Software used: PremierePro, AfterEffects, CLO3D, Blender, Unreal Engine, Higgsfield, TapNow

Role: Video Editor, Motion Graphic Designer, 3D Visualizer, AI Artist

CLO x Guangdong Textile

During my time at CLO, I independently created a promotional video showcasing how Guangdong Textile leverages CLO’s ecosystem to accelerate its production workflow, following the development of a pair of denim jeans from ideation to final production.

In this video, I made the majority of motion graphics and 2D animations in After Effects, using Higgsfield for textile pattern animations and model footage. For the iterative denim design sequence, I used Claude’s Blender MCP to directly modify 3D assets through natural-language instructions, combining traditional motion design, generative AI, and AI-assisted 3D workflows.

Software used: PremierePro, AfterEffects, CLO3D, Blender, Unreal Engine, Higgsfield, TapNow

Role: Video Editor, Motion Graphic Designer, 3D Visualizer, AI Artist

Marvelous Designer

Feature Overview

Introduction: During my time at CLO Virtual Fashion, I was responsible for co-producing Marvelous Designer’s Feature Overview videos, translating developer notes and technical features into clear, easy-to-understand language for users.

Before storyboarding, I would sit down with the designers to review the developer notes together and identify the best ways to showcase each feature and its use cases. From there, I developed the storyboard and edited the full video. Once the edit was complete, I collaborated with the global team to localize the content and produce the videos in multiple languages.

Software used: PremierePro, AfterEffects, ElevenLabs

Role: Storyboarder, Video Editor, Motion Graphic Designer

The Sacred Encounter

Introduction: This is a CG short film created by a three-person team (me included) within three months. Set on the stage of a post-war medieval world, this short film conveys a knight's journey and his encounter with a mysterious pastor in the cathedral.

Role: Environment and camera shots for the interior of the cathedral, character development, and video editing.

I am Not Enough

Introduction: This is a visual story video project that we completed in 2 weeks. I coordinated a team of 5 to create the whole video, from brainstorming and storyboarding to the final production. The theme is about an insecure artist who journeyed to discover her passion and confidence.

Role: Producer, cameraman, video editor, music composer

Born to be Gaga

Introduction: This is a megamix of Lady Gaga’s top hits as the individual remix project for the course COM3508 - Emerging Technologies in Multimodal Communication. Both audio and visual were edited individually.

Time spent: 2 weeks

A + Rivals

Introduction: This short film revolves around two top-performing students whose competition with each other leads them to resort to cheating during an exam, only to face consequences in the end. The shots were taken over a weekend, with the entire production spanning a week. When it comes to video shooting and editing, it was different from the previous projects in that the storytelling was more focused on having the concepts comprehended by the audience. In this short film, the main idea was pretty straightforward so I had to design the visual presentation in a way that showcases the tension between the two people while maintaining the playful and hilarious parts.

Role in the project: Director, cameraman, video editor

“The Wholesale Flower Market under COVID-19 Pandemic”
